This is it folks! Our Delaware students have worked hard all year to get here. They’ve done hours of research, typed papers, glued pictures, practiced performances, and of course won their state medals. Now it’s time for National History Day (NHD) !
This year, NHD will be held on Monday, June 13th through Thursday, June 17th in College Park, MD, and although they telecast the National Spelling Bee on ESPN every year, somehow they over look NHD! I know teachers, parents, and other students wait with baited breathe to hear what’s happening. This year though, we will make your wait a little shorter. I will be blogging every night from College Park with updates from the competition. Please check in often to get the latest news from competition.

If you have anything you would like to see reported on specifically, please leave me a comment in the section below and I will try my hardest to answer all your questions!
Ellen, the staff of the Delaware Historical Society, and I are all wishing our finalist good luck as they begin their competitions! We know you’ll do great guys, and don’t forget your pins!!
