Yester-Yearbooks

Howard High School has for many years been an important educational cornerstone for the African American community in northern Delaware. Today, we highlight a 1958 yearbook from this well known school.

The Delaware Historical Society possesses an outstanding collection of original school yearbooks. Each Friday we highlight a particular class from schools throughout the State of Delaware. We encourage our readers to consider donating their Delaware school yearbooks to the DHS library where it will be preserved and made available to future generations of Delawareans.

About finding yearbooks in the DHS collection: Consult our online catalog ‘Ask Caesar’

and type the name of the high school in the ‘library catalog’ search bar.
