Remembering World War I: March 11th, 1917

During this week one hundred years ago, the Russian Czar, Nicholas II abdicated. The Russian government collapsed, setting the stage for a significant victory for Germany later in 1917. Unrestricted submarine attacks by Germany, even against neutral countries such as the United States, are rampant throughout March of 1917.
